How it started
At the age of 19, while pursuing a degree in Finance, I accepted a position with a local homebuilder in its Design Center facility. I immediately fell in love with the field and knew right away that I was on a new career path.
What I learned
I learned the nuts and bolts of the industry starting as an administrative assistant, which led to the roles of Design Consultant, Design Center Manager, and then I became a Design Consultant for the custom/ luxury home market. I worked with homebuyers in the selection of the hard/fixed finishes of their homes, which included the coordination of flooring, cabinets, countertops, intricate bath surrounds, interior and exterior paint schemes, plumbing fixtures, appliances, light fixtures and window treatments.

Certified Color Expert
In addition to over 20 years of experience, I hold the accreditation of Certified Color Expert, which involves intensive training emphasizing proper paint selection in any given space.
Debuts in 2022!!
My passion for people and knack for color has inspired me to launch my own business. I embrace the challenge of updating a space while maintaining the integrity of the home. Thus, Designs For You was born, and I am dedicated to customer satisfaction in every aspect of what I do.
During my limited free time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, reading, spending time with family and going out to restaurants. I am an accomplished oboist and have enjoyed traveling the world.
